  1. Are the medications in pill packs?
    SC Home RX offers multi-dose blister cards. They are used the same, just in card form.

  2. Do refills have to be requested?
    SC Home RX will automatically refill maintenance medications every month around the same time. Excluded items are liquids, topicals, inhalers, eye drops, insulin, and OTC products not covered by insurance (labeled REQUEST REFILL).

  3. Have the medications been mailed out and where are they?
    Medications can be tracked as soon as the package is scanned by the courier, USPS/FedEx.

  4. Why haven’t the medications been filled?
    • Too soon to fill per insurance or by law (for controlled substances)
    • Not covered by insurance.
    • Not in stock and had to be ordered or on backorder and not available.
    • Account is on hold due to non-payment of copays.

  5. What is the cost of the mail services?
    There are no charges for mail services except for requested overnight services, ($25).

  6. Is there a cost for the medication(s)?
    SC Home RX will only charge for the copay(s) set by the insurance plan.

  7. How much are the copays?
    SC Home RX does not set copay amounts. For the moist accurate copay, before medications are filled, contact the insurance plan covering prescriptions.

  8. How to pay the bill?
    • Online - No
    • Debit/Credit card - It can be filed to process upon request or used for autopay.
    • Check/Money order - A statement will be mailed the 1st week of the following month of fills and will include an addressed return envelope for mail-in payments.

  9. Are the medications delivered to the door?
    Primarily medications are delivered to the mailbox or PO Box by the US Postal Service.

  10. How are the medications delivered?
    US Postal Service (USPS).
    FedEx, in special circumstances.

  11. Can medications be mailed to an address other than the home address?
    Yes. This request will need to be specified at the time of registration with SC Home RX.
